Debra Wootton founded Webra Multimedia in 2007 and was soon joined by like-minded individuals keen to expand upon their skill sets by engaging in ambitious new projects. This led to numerous creative projects in animation and production, but also included the coordination of industry related charity and non profit organisations.
Webra is also the driving force behind a number of events, an example being the 529 Club established at Pinewood Studios in 2009; a premier monthly networking event for studio practitioners, as well as the Saronikos International Festival of Creative Arts (SIFCA) established in 2022 that takes place every year South of Athens in Greece.
Through active engagement with clients, contacts and industry buffs, Webra has grown significantly over the years to incorporate not only animation projects, but also live action and factual productions.
Webra’s ambitions goes beyond the production and, among other in-house projects, we are developing platforms aimed at small and medium companies in order to help them produce effective animation at a low budget as well as distribute their films through a community-based platform.
